Each year, the Zane Grey Clubhouse gathers together to honor our country’s history. With a capacity crowd, we were all reminded that, indeed, freedom isn’t free. Its history is pressed on the now solemn battlefields that bear our fallen, both here in our country as well as foreign nations. We gathered to honor the past and present service of our military.
After the musical presentation, everyone was invited to participate in a picnic-style dinner of hamburgers, beans, and watermelon. We wish to thank all the volunteers who helped to make this special day!
The next fundraiser dinner will be held on Saturday, August 18 from 4:00 p.m–6:00 p.m. The Mexican Theme dinner will include: Red and green chicken enchilada casserole, Mexican fried rice, refried beans, desserts, coffee and assorted beverages. The donation price for the dinner is $7.00. Music will be provided. “To Go” boxes are available. All are welcome. Each Tuesday we meet from 1:00 – 3:30 as the High Country Jammers sing and play for our entertainment. About 2:00 p.m., the musicians take a short break and we offer refreshments and yummy goodies. This event is open to the public. We are on the southwest corner of Forest Park Dr. and Mogollon. Email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
