Special Olympics Annual Torch Race

Once again our Special Olympics team made their race through town passing the torch. They ended the race at Tin Pan Alley’s parking lot. As they approached their destination they probably felt like they were blown in with the high winds we were having today. But they had big smiles and the sense of accomplishment on their faces was quite visible.

There was much team support from classmates on the other side of the 260 Highway today cheering and jumping up and down for them as they successfully reached their destination. Even the truckers passing by gave them a toot!
