UPDATE :Teen Party Goes Wrong-

On Sunday night, a teenager was shot and killed by police in Glendale at a party held at an industrial park. Further investigation revealed that a gun in the possession of teenager, Levy Isaac Madueno Santibanez, has been found in the area, and officials have determined that it was fired multiple times before the police arrived at the scene. More than 200 people attened the party, and police is still investigating the motive behind the shooting.

-UPDATE: Adoption Scam-

Officials have decided to investigate whether Maricopa County Assessor Paul Petersen used any public funds that benefited his illegal adoption business. Petersen was arrested last week after his adoption scam surfaced. Petersen had arranged pregant women from the Marshall Islands to come to the United States to give birth, and give up their babies for adoption. He is currently in federal in custody.

-White House Recognizes Arizona Educators-

On Tuesday, The White House recognized four educators for their excellence in mentoring and teaching Math and Science. Educators are from Chandler and Tucson. The teaching award stands to be the highest recognition granted by the U.S. government.

-Killed Horses-

A 19-year-old has been arrested for shooting two horses on September 30 in Pinedale. Ryland Haynes has been taken to jail for illegal killing of the animals. Officials say more arrests could happen as the investigation is still ongoing.
